Ted Robinson Course Architect

50 Years, 7 Countries, 150 Projects. One Philosophy.

Over the past 50 years, Ted Robinson has designed over 150 golf courses throughout the world, including “Top 5” courses in Washington, Oregon, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah and Hawaii.

Robinson began his career as a land planner while teaching at the University of Southern California. Golf course architecture gradually supplanted urban design until it became his dominant activity 50 years ago. He is past President of the American Society of Golf Course Architects. Robinson has been honored in past years by the selection of Sahalee Country Club in Redmond, Washington, as the host of the '98 PGA Tour Championship, and the selection of Experience at Koele in Lanai, Hawaii, as one of the best resort courses in the world.

National Golf Club's signature course is Ted Robinson's only course design on the East Coast, one that Members of all playing calibers enjoy round after round.
